Make sure the job was completed according to the Client’s request. You should only request payment when the task is completed. Client will have up to 7 days to settle an invoice. After the allotted time for settling an invoice has passed and the Client has not paid, send them a message to find out if there’s a problem and how you can best fix it.

Once a Client raises a dispute against a Professional, a 4 day response time will be given to the Professional to respond to it. Otherwise, they will automatically lose the dispute and the pending Milestone will be returned to the Client's account.

Some people may not like the idea of posting their face up for the world to see, but employers are very picky about considering, let alone hiring, someone with a blank profile picture. It adds that personal touch; a face behind the name.
Here are some important guidelines to follow for a great profile picture. You do not necessarily need to follow this advice, but it could be what makes the difference when trying to land that important customer!
1. Make It Personal: Have a picture of your face. Not you and your friends, your dog, you and your partner, etc. This is your job, and your time to shine, so it should all be about you. Avoid using any obstructive clothing, such as: hoodies, hats, scarves, sunglasses, etc. Ensure your whole face is visible.
2. Make It Proportionate: Nobody likes to see a pixelated, squashed or rotated face for a professional profile photo. Make sure your face is central, proportionate to the surroundings and ensure the photo itself is of a reasonable quality.
3. Make It Neat: It sounds daft, but ensure the photo as a whole is ‘neat’. That means making sure you’re reasonably groomed, at least smart casual dress, with a plain or professional background. The last thing an employer would want to see is a picture of your face with your bed and dirty laundry in the background of the photo. A plain, single coloured wall would be just fine. Don’t forget to smile: This isn’t a passport mugshot photo. Crack a smile, let just enough personality through so that employers feel confident you are not a robot with no sense of humour!

To update your personal information, go to your main profile page. On the right hand side opposite your profile picture, you will see a profile summary. Click on ‘edit profile’ to the right of this summary and you will be taken to a screen that allows you to update your personal information.
Similar to updating your personal information, you may proceed to the same page to edit your skills, about section, education, and experience. This is done by going to your main profile page and clicking on the ‘edit profile’ link to the right of the profile summary.
On the ‘edit profile’ page, to the right of the profile summary, you can change your first and last name, if previously incorrect, as well as your display name, which is the name other users on the site will see.

To add/update work samples to showcase on your portfolio, click on Menu at the right top side of the site, then click “My portfolio” under Settings. Fill out necessary information (Portfolio URL, description,skills) and upload a photo of the work sample.
If you want to delete your account for any reason, you may do so by clicking Menu at the right side of the site, then go to “Account” under Settings. Click on “Delete Your Account” button.
